This tip
comes from one of our readers....Lisa Nicole:
When
planting, I label my plants with something that will not fade in
the sun, be destroyed by the wind or washed away with the rain.
I take a big flat shell (that I collect when I go to the beach)
and write with a big black permanent marker the name of the
plant then I turn it down right beside the plant. When I give a
visit of my garden, all I have to do is turn over these shells
for an instant reading. No more bending to read something almost
....unreadable ! :-) and it lasts a long time! Kind of pretty
