Touch of Nature's Gardening Tip

Try some multi-plantings to extend the flowering period of a particular area or to create unique color combinations.

1.  First plant some late-flowering Daffodils (Actaea, Yellow Cheerfulness, Lothario, Geranium, Counsellor), fill the hole with some soil and then plant some Muscari (Grape Hyacinths) on top.

2.  First plant some late-flowering Tulips (all of the Single Late, Lily-flowering, and Parrot varieties), fill the hole with some soil and then plant some Specie Crocus.

3.  First plant some Hyacinths and then plant some Chionodoxa between them.

If your tip is being used in our newsletter, you will receive a $10.00 gift certificate also redeemable for any items in our catalogs!  Email us your tip today!
