Spring is fast approaching down here in the South...I know you northern
readers are thinking we must be crazy! However, in either area of
the country, now is the time to start planning and thinking about what

who submitted a photo of her walkway. January 2003 is
Roxanne McMillen from Huntington Beach, California who submitted
the wonderful transformation of her front yard. And,

planting some sweet peas in the garden. You would need to
put some kind of trellis up for them to climb on, but you will
be rewarded with an abundance of cut flowers and a delicate
smell when you walk by. You can still plant them in the
South and in the rest of the country, you should have time until
